Lock-down 21 days extension, urban refugees miss out on food distribution.

Uganda’s lock down came into effect on 22nd March 2020 when President Museveni’s issued a statement banning all public gathering, transport. and closure of border posts in a bid to prevent the vigorous spread of the novel corona-virus.

The lock down was again extended by 21 more days after Uganda’s Covid-19 cases rise to 61. however, this has not favored most urban refugees who have to move long distance to access their food rations. They say the lock down could not allow them revisit their various camps to receive their food rations.
