Agriculture to rebound, amid COVID–19

As much as the coronavirus pandemic has been devastating to almost all sectors world over; and in Uganda alike, the national Agriculture sector is expected to rebound quickly and quite easily from the impacts of the pandemic. In general, Uganda received moderate rains. Being under COVID-19 lockdown, many more have made use of the fertile soil and engage in some sort of agriculture. Our Northern Uganda reporter Doreen Bazio visited one traditional farmer group in the Mungula Refugee Settlement area, where, just like in many other places in the country, the majority of people turned to farming. She sent us this report.
