The press secretary in the office of the State governor, Aliandro Lotok has said Hon. Louis Lobong Lojore the state governor has survived a deadly road ambush on Monday 29th March on his way to Kapoeta after a successful completion of Peace rally in Camp 15.
According to the press secretary, the governor was responding to gratuitous looting and robbery along the Camp 15 and Kapoeta road coupled with brawl caused by cattle raiding in the disputed region
The attack left seventeen civilians dead including one soldier while others were rushed to the health facility.
