The South Sudan People’s Defense Force or SSPDF pulled out its forces from the Pageri and Moli areas of Eastern Equatoria State, in January, to allow displaced citizens due to war to return. Large number of returnees are expected  to come from Uganda, voluntarily, where they sought safety.  Beatrice Ndaru, representative of the Rehabilitation Reconciliation Commission or RRC in Nimule says the presence of the forces in the areas often intimidated and traumatised the people who were returning. James Arusi reports from South Sudan’s capital, Juba.
