President Museveni warns against intimidation ahead of general elections.

Uganda’s general election comes in 2021 but ahead of the preliminaries, politicians across the country took to campaign in order to win the hearts of their voters. Some politicians took fight back at their oppositions though.

however, President Museveni sought concern about the brutality by his opposition candidates.

During his address of the National Executive and Delegates Conference held on Tuesday at the Presidential State House, the President warned citizens against violent politics and intimidation ahead of the 2020 primaries and 2021 general election. He says those politicians involved in assaulting citizens will face the law.
