Unclear data for urban refugees hampers service delivery

Latest report from different sections of stakeholders in Uganda’s WestNile region says they are struggling with the unknown data of urban refugees in the region. The report says over 15,000 self-settler refugees are dwelling in Arua City alone. This number according to Dr. Apangu Ponsio consume close to 30 percent of the service delivery meant for citizens without being considered as refugees.

However, there is call for refugees partners to implement the transition process for refugees’ framework and policies for the two communities. Our reporter Kennedy Inyakuni has more to tell us in this story. Listen Here
