Many problems, one solution

In response to appeal made by the government of Uganda through the Office of the Prime Minister, some humanitarian organizations have started long term and sustainable response interventions towards issues of migration. The government encourages the organizations, especially those working in refugee settlement areas, to undertake holistic migration response approaches, encompassing both refugees and their hosts.

A team known as The Comprehensive Refugee Response Secretariat, under the Office of the Prime Minister, is assessing the progress of the strategy in Uganda’s largest refugee settlement, Bidibidi. What the team has found is not amazing. But the achievement is a solid ground, they say. Gabriel Adrapi has more.
