Coronavirus: Koboko’s cases outdo 10 of Uganda’s over 1,650 cases confirmed

Following the confirmation of another case reported, Koboko’s covid19 case reach 11 as Uganda’s confirmed cases hit 1,656 with about 53 new cases reported in a day, one of the huge confirmation since the wave of the global pandemic. 16 of the cases are reportedly dead.

Koboko’s first case was reported in May 2020 when truck drivers from the South Sudanese border tested positive for the virus.

Dr. Diana Kazira, the minister of Health’s permanent secretary believes behavior change is the only remedy to combat the vigorous spread.
