Delays in food distribution to South Sudanese refugees spark protest, in Rhino camp.

Food for South Sudanese refugees living in Omugo settlement center – categorised under Rhino camp has been delayed for over one week. The situation appears to persist. Refugees’ patience is running slim every day. This week some of them took matters into their own hands – demonstrating against the delay of distribution of their food rations. Still some sources believe the anger is a combination of many circumstances; including the fact that some refugees detest the on-going data verification exercise. More on the exercise:
