South Sudanese musicians who sought safety in Uganda spoke with one accord – time for peace, in South Sudan, is now. The musicians, living in various parts of Uganda, performed in Uganda’s Northern district of Arua to celebrate delayed South Sudan’s Independence Day. The artistes were joined by their Ugandan counterparts, and performed at the musical event. Everyone who had a chance to microphone spoke of the need to embrace peace in the Africa’s youngest nation, South Sudan. Hafiz Bakhit and Amen Elizabeth sent us this report.
