Cross-border raids, along South Sudan-Uganda border area, have thrown entire populations into chaos. For example, residents of Lamwo district in the North of Uganda are angry at their authorities for “failing to protect them and their property”. They say they have already lost few hundreds of their livestock to armed raiders. They claim the rustlers come from South Sudan, under the cover of darkness. The distressed villagers want immediate action towards deterring such acts. Mega FM compiled the report. Take a listen.
