At least two people were killed and one injured in a clash in January, between cattle keepers and farmers in Kapara area, which is located at the border between Warrap State and Western Bahr El Ghazel State. Farmers say they previously agreed on when cattle keepers can cross their cattle in Kapara for grazing, but the cattle keepers often violate the agreement, farmers claim. A youth leader says they clashed after massive destruction of farms in Kapara. Charles John reports from, neighbouring Wau.
