The Arua district taskforce on the coronavirus is considering the establishment of an institutional quarantine centre at the refugee settlement camp, a move they believe will reduce the risk of transporting cases from such refugee areas for monitoring.

Following the statement from the acting health officer Arua district, formal communications are due to be made to the UNHCR to formally operationalize the institutional Quarantine centres in the refugee camps of Imvepi and Omugo where assessments have been done.
